I like video games that have native Linux binaries, but dicking around with wine, proton, flatpak bs is such a headache and a pain. I do not understand how some of you put up with it.
Tried running Warhammer 40k Boltgun using both wine and then proton ge and it refused to work. People online claimed it worked with the proton flatpak, after going down that rabbit I was thoroughly pissed and flathub didn't even have proton. I don't like messing with the flat crap anyways. So I played the game on Windows with my kids and it was nice. 10/10
