One time I was told to report to work during the middle of a state emergency from a natural disaster. The only outlets in the entire building that kind of worked were in the office kitchen (undervolt and brownouts). I was told to drag an entire desktop setup and plug into the refrigerator outlets.
Got paid 2.5 times my hourly rate to watch the computer attempt to boot up every 30 seconds for 16 hours straight.
