"content": "well yeah any modern device in an undervolt condition will attempt to step down. I think in this case the CPU was starved for power. in the bios it was displaying as E3-1230v3 which should be 3.3-3.5 boost GHz but running was only 800mhz. i thoutgh it was the board at first but suggested a PSU swap and its mint now. crazy that it was able to operate all this time without much issue with a failing PSU",
