One thing that events in Gaza have highlighted is politicians pursuing their own course, regardless of the strength of opinion (& opposition) from the electorate.
the lack of action from the government over the fascist marauding in the UK during the last week resulted in people having to come together to defend their own communities when the government would not.
& the disproportionate sentencing for rioters compared to activist trying to save the planet (& us)
