Except this isn't how basic economics works. Hoarding any commodity causes price to rise, causing increased investment and then production as people seek to gain from producing more of it, causing equilibrium to return. Hoarding bitcoin or gold isn't exempt- more energy is spent trying to produce these resources which actually contribute no value in and of themselves. So if anything it's actually the opposite of what Luke is saying
