TIL that even in flat feed mode, tear-away stabilizer is bound to emerge from the laser printer looking like a lightly singed accordion.

(Yes, I am aware that printable stabilizer exists, but those substrates are not appropriate for this particular commission where I need to transfer an embroidery design to leather.)
