Honestly, I hope this firing of Tucker Carlson results in an onslaught of lawsuits into every single lie Murdoch’s fake news hosts have spread.
Carlson wasn’t the only one who lied. Hannity was just as bad, and he directly advised Trump, who created and propagated most of the lies and conspiracy theories that resulted in the Jan 6 insurrection.
Fox’s propaganda machine was complicit in spreading lies about democrats committing election fraud, while republicans were engaging in fraud the entire time. Every time they accused an honest politician or election official of fraud, they were tampering in our electoral system. Hundreds of frivolous lawsuits were filed.
Their lies influenced voters, who elected lying Trump cronies, instead of honest candidates. Republicans gained control of the house, because of lies about election fraud. They lied, and they cheated. Now, they control key committees.
Meanwhile, Trump is running for president, when he should be in prison.
