Just some Hondashi i keep around for emergency miso soup, nothing fancy. I don't keep katsuoboshi in the house usually.
Gonna be topping it with some soy sauce and mirin cured egg yolks. Hoping the fam enjoys it; they're hit or miss on Japanese food once it's not sushi or teriyaki (or deep fried).
