Amazing that at some level it is so basic*. \n\nLesson one: charge your power users what they are willing to pay.\n Lesson two: Lock up your core customers (advertisers) by going on a listening tour and asking them what works and what doesn't. Make sure to land a few key public commitments. Focus on the head not the long tail. \nLesson 3: Cut costs dramatically and do it fast and all at once to get it over with.\nElevate a few key people (including some veterans) to promote internal cohesion.\nNot rocket science.
