It's now been confirmed by the hospital that my Mum has Covid. I am certain that we both got infected when we were in A&E last week. 😫
At the moment mum is stable and we are hoping that there are no serious complications from the Covid but it is a huge worry. I managed to talk to her on the phone this afternoon although we mostly just coughed at each other. Mum is being very brave and is fighting hard to get back home ASAP.
It is now 5 days since I tested positive and I am improving but still feel dreadful. I have lost my sense of smell/taste and have a terrible cough but my temperature is back to normal and the headaches are less frequent. I had forgotten how horrible even mild Covid is.
