Finally checking out 0xchat right now, and while the UI is a little too "modern" which almost always means bland and clunky, it appears to work pretty well. Supports bunker protocol for remote signers, which is wonderful. I'm going to dig into the details and nips, I'm pretty sure there's no forward secrecy if I understand how encrypted messaging over nostr works, but seems useable for talking to nostr people casually. I'm still not going to stop using XMPP and delta chat for more serious messaging.
