I don't disagree with that. I haven't the slightest idea where to draw the line of where domestic vs international mischief begins and ends though.
I suspect that the foreign interference is more about leaning into existing, destructive tendencies than creating them, and that they don't particularly care. (For example, I think there's something to Russia pushing for Trump, but I also suspect they pushed for Bernie, Johnson/Weld 2016, #Resistance/BLM, and literally anything else to distract us from eastern Europe and the Middle East.)
