So the argument is evolving, Core is moving away from consensus with Knots and towards consensus with Libre Relay.
I get OP_RETURN limit is considered pointless, but it wouldn't be if all other attack vectors were shut down.
Does this really come down to native JPEGs on Bitcoin or no JPEGs on Bitcoin?
Having just posted this, I decided to look at Libre Relay on Geyser and they state this:
