I wrote the editors that they should be looking at Mastodon/ActivityPub. I made the point that BlueSky may have a larger reach right now than Mastodon but it is still owned by Tech Bros and just earlier in the Twitter arc. Mastodon/ActivityPub will be the protocol of future social media. I advocated they should look at creating a MSNBC.com instance.",
