Feeling bad sometimes that because of my MECFS I have kind of dropped the ball on touching base with some of my more vulnerable friends. Namely the ones you have to chase down to make sure they are ok every few months/The ones struggling with addiction who just dip off the radar.
Sometimes it breaks my heart. You can text, but when someone's phone stops working or they just drop off the earth I don't have the spoons to call six people to make sure they've seen you in the last week.
Leaving the meta platform made it a lot harder too. It doesn't mean my love stopped. I feel like in some ways the MECFS means I fail in community care where I used to be pretty strong and it makes me sad.
I hope my friends are doing ok. Wherever they are. I can't cruise past a place to make sure like I used to. Especially when I don't live in the same city anymore.
