Well that did not go swimmingly. A funny thing I'd forgotten about redundancy and that I've read in any number of posts from people in this position - actually telling you that you personally are being laid off always seems to be an afterthought.
When only those being laid off attend the meeting, it seems deliberately obtuse that we then have to be given a letter in order to read our fate, and that this fate is not ever spoken aloud.
