I think the number one worst invention was the idea of "statuses" especially live statuses. I try to disable them when I can, because the idea of people seeing "Oh Amber’s online right now she must be available" is so fucking creepy to me. Just… send a message and I will get back to you on my own time. I hate having this "announce to everyone in online" event happen every fucking time I use something. You know, what if I want to just play a steam game and k don’t want to announce to everyone "AMBER IS ONLINE STEAM, AMBER IS PLAYING A GAME!!". Sure offline mode but that’s not a solution.
