It's a weird cancer, usually very slow growing and doesn't respond to radiation or chemo. NET (neuro endocrine tumor) or carcinoid tumors.
There's a drug they are wanting me to start to slow down the growth. It is one I would be on the rest of my life and it's $9000 a month. Lanriotide.

Until about 15 years ago nobody knew about it - you have to use silver nitrate to see that the biopsy is cancer - otherwise it looks benign. I was diagnosed 9 years ago.
