Yes, user controlled. I'm in the adult industry. We like to show people what we get up to. But not everyone wants to see it, and they shouldn't have to (would love Sensitive Content NIP to be turned on. My relay at adult.18plus.social will allow Sensitive Content natch).
But also, I could quite enjoy a filter that removed any posts mentioning Sovereign Citizen or Jesus.
