I just culled about 100 plastic containers from my Mom's plastic container hoard, leaving only the ones with lids that fit (about another hundred).
Mom had this great system where she'd store the containers in the pantry, and the lids separately on a shelf in the back of a low cabinet elsewhere. It drove me crazy.
