it's never occurred to me to consume art just because it's made by a trans person. I just hunt out art that I like. And it just happens that so much of what speaks to me would turn out to be made by a trans person but it simply wasn't marketed as such.
This might be kind of like "Christian music" - if it's any good, it won't be called that.
