I am not blaming open source do-gooders for Google requiring bullshit to work with Android Home and Gemini.
It’s not Nabu Casa’s fault and servers cost money to operate.
They just don’t cost that much to operate and the margin on the Green could cover the cost for longer than the lifespan of the hardware.
