They're giving him instructions on how to find tune his feed, choose his own algorithm, and make the most of Nostr - no matter the content.

I don't think we as a community could have done any better in this example.

I believe this failure at user retention was not at the fault of the community, but more so on the user not willing to learn.

Could we have done better? Sure. There's always room for improvement.

However, the user needs to be willing to learn as well. They need to be willing to step outside their comfort zone, just a little, and learn.
