What would have been my alternative to Sharkey, had things gone differently?
I was considering going back to Mastodon or giving Misskey, the upstream of Sharkey a try. I was curious about Ice Shrimp, but that is in the middle of a very slow rewrite and the fact that it is powered by .Net gave me some pause.
Likely, I would have gone back to Mastodon. The last Misskey I joined, didn't let you edit your post. But the 500-character limit, that most widely federated Mastodon instances use ๐
