Quick story, I happened to find myself as being both Flight Chief and First Sgt at the same time (I was busy) and one of my Airmen got arrested. My statement to now Mr. Brown was simple, “when your rater/supervisor also happens to be your Flight Chief AND your First Sgt, you probably should avoid getting arrested.
