It won’t. Well, it sort of will. One of the things I’ve heard in the last 48 hours in response to this is businesses redefining “senior leadership” as one organisational level down from where they did before. A lot of Australian businesses have female heavy upper-but-not-heaps-up management roles so moving a goalpost lets them say they have more women in senior leadership roles. Nobody gets a dime more.
