Quite a challenging day today, not so much because of work, but everything else.
One interesting thing, though - I helped a client choose a Linux sysadmin. As I often do in these situations, I started the interview with a question: 'Suppose you have a Linux machine in front of you, you can access the boot loader, it's not encrypted, and you can't boot from another device. Can you become root and change its password?'
Sometimes, people struggle to answer, but they show an understanding of the boot process logic. Others are left in the dark.
