I never even had a Fender before a year or two ago, I only had Ibanez bass guitars really and an ESP hybrid electric guitar before (and an old Yamaha acoustic)- found one of these super cheapie Fender electrics at Goodwill, like $100. My wife virtually MADE me get it. Glad she did. Cracks me up, it's not even a Squier, it's a 'STARcaster' and that cracks me up. I've COVERED it in stickers. I do play it a lot though. Good wife
