TODAY - we are gonna be showing for trans youth, and trans girls especially, in sports. I arrive as a long-term babysitter for the neighborhood. I plan on speaking based on my experiences as a trans person, former nationally-ranked youth athlete, and childhood sexual abuse survivor. These narratives of protection being used to limit ideas of bodies, agency, future, and ultimately harm survivors of DV and SA, have got to go.
