"content": "#InsectSaturday\n\nI saw this Red Admiral butterfly on the forest floor while #hiking. These are resilient creatures, as they are uniquely flexible in what they eat. \n\nπ¦ This adult travels around this large forest drinking nectar from flowers, and even will feed on tree sap and liquid from overripe fruit. What could it be doing on the ground? Sometimes they snack on poop! π That's flexibility.\n\nπ¦The brightly colored patterns discombobulate predators.\n\n#SouthMountainsSP NC #Butterfly #Insect\nhttps://a.mindlycdn.com/media_attachments/files/113/099/793/637/047/961/original/8980e3c7f391ed50.jpg\n",
