It is definitely a thought provoking & partially valid point, but there is also an underlying reason & logic behind these positions too. Butterflys are pollinators & don't invade your home & spread bacteria & disease by pooping on everything.
Frogs are pretty ugly (they certainly aren't butterflies) but I don't think anyone would celebrate someone killing frogs.
