Conversely, a computer is not a brain.
The shallow metaphor that neural networks in any way "mimic" the brain has always irked me. Perhaps it works as a metaphor alone, and you can leave it at that, but when it takes an air of grandiose, as if they were a magnificent achievement in emulating an actual brain, well that's just silly.
