For anyone that has struggled with seasonal depression, i did as well for a while. The 5 things I did that have largely made it disappear are:
1: I started taking 5000iu of D3, zinc, 500mg of magnesium, iodine, and Tongkat Ali daily.

2: I purchased a full spectrum photographic light, that i keep shining on my face when im inside on the computer.

3: I installed a Cubic Mini woodstove quite literally at the end of my 7 ft desk, on a platform of firebrick, and have a small fire going most of the time that i am inside.

4: i cut out all refined sugar and foods, but for an occasional slice of pizza, or a peanut butter cup(home made, stevia sweetened)

5: i started trying to be thankful for a period, every day. Not abstractly, but specifically. Sitting in the silence, feeling the warmth of the fire, listening to the wind outside, or the rain, and letting myself feel the peace and joy in my body.

This is the second year ive been doing this, and i am amazed by how different i feel daily. some days i have the same level of energy as summer, and look forward to getting outside and working, even in the rain.
