#WritersCoffeeClub 3 June: Should books include a content warning?
I don't like the 'should' here. I think it's good when they do (and mine do!), but I wouldn't want to be prescriptive about it.
People are free to not read books thay don't have content warnings and I want them to have plenty of alternatives, but as a reader myself I prefer not to have them (outside of fanfiction, where I am very particular) as I don't like spoilers and would compulsively read the CW if it were there.>
