Cool idea, but I personally cannot go back to a board design where the ergonomics are so bad. Staggered rows of keys are harder to type on than something ortholinear, and having a truly split board makes a world of difference. If you're using a keyboard correctly, you shouldn't be needing to look at it, anyway. Would be interesting to see that tech applied to the Ergodox layout.
