the fees are retarded. It's spurred on an entire ecosystem of ERC 20 projects, most of which are scams, but there are people/devs building on that because of the smart contracts.
IDK about ETH, never been a fan of it nor used it, in fact if I see ERC20 i avoid it completely, but you can't deny that it's been able to build Web3 as we know it.
