It is even easier because you can take both sides separately and feed it through `hledger -f a.ledger -f b.ledger` and get a merged version back with out-of-order bits sorted. Assuming of course neither side has non-attatched comments (transaction or posting comments are fine) or non-transaction data—this is a limitation I just impose on my data anyway to get free merging, normalizing, formatting, etc.
