"content": "Yes. Fire ecology, i.e. how ecosystems adapt to fire in fire-prone regions, is really interesting. \n\nMost wildfires start because of human activities (arson, errors, negligence, etc). Only very few are due to natural causes eg lightning. In addition climate change changes their intensity and extension.\n\nFor me it’s hard to fathom how this will play out for those ecosystems and which species will be able to adapt to the pace and human action (or inaction).",
