Very interesting that the new DM feature on BlueSky doesn't even go through the AP protocol.
I guess they thought it was so much a priority that they just built the feature barebones and released it because other platforms are also missing the feature so they wanted to get ahead of them.🤷♂️
It's about as "private" as Fediverse DMs, but it's a start nonetheless.👍
