All joking aside, I too, once stuck around until the bitter end with Netscape back in the day, so you have my sympathy. But the reality is your web browser experience has been and will continue to degrade with time.
The browser wars are over, and even government websites are not paying attention to Firefox / Gecko in terms of support. The most recently example of this was America's IRS Tax website during tax season (it was eventually fixed). You're going to see that happen more frequently, since Firefox's market share is just above 2% (two percent).
But if you're one of those people who want to hold onto Firefox (Gecko) until the bitter end, I would suggest Floorp. Some people like Zen Browser, which is a fork of Floorp (but I am always cautious when you have a fork of a fork). This will provide you a Vivaldi Browser-like experience while using Firefox. The advantage is if Firefox ever goes "bye-bye" and you are forced to move on, you'll have less of a learning curve and moving to Vivaldi Browser later would be easier.
