I've been using my own node with Alby for the past week or so.
If you go to getalby.com/node you can add a NWC pairing key from the NWC app your own node. Nothing changes on the app side besides you see your node balance now instead of the Alby one.
I'm not on AlbyHub yet but it's the early stages of it I believe.
Also until now the only way for a listener to Boost a show is using BoostCLI on RaspiBlitz or the Alby desktop extension with Podverse web.
