That’s like saying people are confused between US and Zimbabwean Dollars.
And no I don’t want to make the point that we use slang for currency all the time, rather currencies come in different denominations divisible within itself.
A dime is one denomination within the US dollar, specifically ten CENTS, no other currency has dimes, but anyone using US dollars knows what 10 cents is in relation to 1 dollar.
