Another thing some people do is list down some of the things they are interested in, then maybe you can get some suggestions on hashtags or people to follow. Can find a lot of interesting stuff that way.
This is a great source to get you started if you have questions about parts of the Nostr process. If you are not a fan, DON’T GIVE UP. I love Damus too haha (and use it daily. Definitely a favorite) but its not for everyone. At least try a different Client first. What client/clients are you currently using? Some popular ones I see that people use a lot are Amethyst, Damus, Primal, and Nostur. It’s important to try and keep this alive and moving forward. Join us!

Once you do have a good handle on Nostr in general, this youtube vid will show you how to set up that lightning feature for payments if you are running Damus. The same thing applies to other lightning wallets as well if you don’t have or want or have access to Wallet of Satoshi
