Youall know how I get when I can't find something.... Does anyone remember the author/title of a book by a Western agricultural expert who lived and worked with an Inuit group? The book starts out something like 'one kind of culture uses up land and throws it away, and moves on to new land; another kind of culture cultivates and preserves the land they live on. The first culture is agricultural, the second culture is nomadic.'
