You'll note, though, that most of those things didn't need computers in the first place - even if it was easy to jailbreak em, what would a post-internet person use the computer for? It was put there to send data to the internet, no keyboard, no camera, maybe a mic, tiny screen if that.

Not saying we don't need tech - there's all kinds of ways a computer can be useful, but if it goes to that apocalypse scenario, we'll be using lower tech, and the young will look at us askance.
