The Castro tour today was so good. I learned a ton.
The guide: “so, how did San Francisco become so gay? Well, like most things in San Francisco history, it started with the gold rush” 😂
Also apparently the thing that finally put Dan White over the edge before he killed Milk and Moscone was that his baked potato stand at Pier 39 wasn’t successful. That man had so many excuses.
Now I need to rewatch Milk which I haven’t seen in over a decade.
