Android (and, I'm sure iOS) have this "feature" whereupon applications can override your ability to engage content on-screen, such as translation overlays or the ability to take screenshots. This ability is absolutely disgusting to me. As a user owning the device, the device itself should not stop me in any way, nor interfere with me in any way, from engaging with or accessing content. The application vis-a-vis the operating system should not have more power or authority than I, the user. Applications and operating systems should not have the ability to tell the user "no".
