It's probably the same here in the US for new users. I think Dave and I are grandfathered in and If I wanted to buy a larger amount, then I'd probably have to upload my ID.
Maybe not for new users but it's very easy to use and cheap if you know what you're getting into.
I bought $100 yesterday and Strike only took $0.94 in fees. This was with my bank account so it's cheaper but takes a few days to process.
