Bitcoin is far more distributed than gold imo. Gold may have more individual holders over all, but the monetary network of gold is only as distributed as the physical nature of it can be.
I guess technically speaking no one holds Bitcoin. Only keys. But those keys can be distributed Fundamentally differently than gold can be. For one, keys are limitless...
