Anecdata on real life vs internet life : I have had a succession of full-on redneck rw neighbours in my rural nabe - 4" x 8' Max Bernier billboards nailed to their fence, RebelNews radio blaring on their radios, etc, etc.
They have all been great neighbours - in emergencies, in getting together to provide help for someone or to provide restitution to right local wrongs. Every single one of them.
